The Republic Party Votes in Favor of Armenia's Independence and Sovereignty: Zeynalyan

The Republic Party voted in favor of forming a government in Yerevan and resolving the situation. This was stated by Artak Zeynalyan, a member of the newly elected council from the Republic Party faction, during a press briefing.

According to him, their party voted in favor of Armenia's independence and sovereignty.

It is noteworthy that 37 council members participated in the ongoing council session, meaning there is a quorum.

The council has nominated Tigran Avinyan for the position of mayor.

All members present at the council meeting participated in the voting for the mayor's election.

Considering that 1 hour is allocated for the voting process, the results will be published after its completion, as absent council members may also arrive and cast their votes.
