“The 102nd Military Base Maintains the Stability and Security of Armenia’s Borders” - Russian Ambassador

Russian Ambassador to Armenia Sergey Kopirkin, after a meeting with the Governor of Syunik, stated in an interview with Sputnik Armenia that the issues concerning the Armenians of Nagorno-Karabakh are extremely important to Moscow. The diplomat was informed about the challenges by Governor Gukasyan and will convey the information to Russia.

“Russia will continue to work towards resolving regional conflicts. Without this, it will be difficult to establish peace. The 102nd military base and Russian border guards are maintaining the stability and security of Armenia's borders under difficult circumstances, especially in light of the reports regarding the ‘Zangezur Corridor.’ The region and the entire world are currently experiencing intense and challenging times. Everything must be done to preserve and strengthen relations between countries,” the ambassador noted.
