Heavy Situation: Organization Issues Persist for Refugees
The newspaper "Past" reports that while authorities talk about the "proper reception of Artsakh Armenians and addressing their needs," the reality presents a rather heavy picture.
According to the paper's source, the process of resettling forcibly displaced Armenians from Artsakh in Armenia is largely disorganized. In particular, issues regarding job security and permanent residency remain uncertain.
People essentially do not understand what their future status will be. Our source in the government informs that both the Ministry of Labor and Social Issues, which is the main organizer of resettling the Artsakh Armenians, and the regional administrations are experiencing complete disarray.
Moreover, in many cases, regional governors casually "pass the buck" to the community governments, insisting that these questions fall within their jurisdiction, while they simply act as an intermediary.
