‘At this moment, we have no troop buildup at the border, neither from our side nor Azerbaijan’s’ - Pashinyan
Every day I am briefed on incidents of ceasefire violations. Throughout the entire previous day, a single shot was fired along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border. This was stated today, October 10, by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during an interview with Petros Ghazaryan.
‘This is, in essence, a very low level of escalation, almost zero. At this moment, we have no troop buildup at the border, neither from our side nor from Azerbaijan’s, and there is no tension at the border right now. However, on the other hand, in the modern world, troop movements can occur within a few hours or days,’ he said.
However, according to Pashinyan, if they can address the existing issues with Azerbaijan, then war becomes meaningless.
