Some Scoundrels Attack Arthur Chakhoyan, Attempt to Stab Him: Viktor Mnaatsakanyan

An attack has been carried out on Arthur Chakhoyan, a public figure who continuously exposes the shortcomings in the construction and improvement sectors of the Yerevan municipality, with an attempt to stab him. This was reported on Facebook by Viktor Mnaatsakanyan, the former head of the Central district.

“A few moments ago, some scoundrels cowardly attacked Arthur Chakhoyan, who has been consistently revealing the work-related deficiencies in the construction and improvement sectors of the Yerevan municipal government, and attempted to stab him. Fortunately, they were unable to complete their vile act; the police have arrested one of them. We hope that this incident coincidentally happened on the eve of the first session of the new Yerevan council. The ball is now in the court of law enforcement authorities. I expect that law enforcement will do everything possible to ensure that the captured criminal is joined by his accomplices, unveiling the entire chain of a dirty game that someone has conceived on the eve of the Yerevan mayoral election,” he wrote.
