Iran Denies Its Involvement in Planning or Executing Attacks on Israel

Iran has announced that it is not involved in the planning or execution of Hamas's attack on Israel. This information was reported by the BBC’s Russian service.

The Iranian mission to the UN stated that Tehran did not participate in the planning of the attack by Hamas militants on Israel.

“We firmly support Palestine, but we do not participate in Palestinian responses, as those decisions are made exclusively by Palestine,” stated the mission.

The Amwaj.media portal, citing high-ranking Arab security sources in Beirut, mentioned that its sources categorically denied the information suggesting that the Palestinian blitzkrieg on October 7 followed secret meetings between Arab and Iranian officials in Lebanon.

Previously, The Wall Street Journal reported, based on its sources, that Iranian intelligence services helped plan the attack against Israel by the Palestinian Hamas movement.

We also recall that earlier, the UN Security Council held an emergency meeting behind closed doors amid the war between Israel and Palestine, but could not reach a unified statement.
