The images capture the prevailing situation on the ground, with collapsed buildings and damaged structures throughout the area. It is noted that on Sunday night, Israel carried out several airstrikes on the Gaza Strip. According to the latest data, the death toll from Gaza stands at 256, with an additional 1,788 people wounded. These figures are unofficial.
Recall that on the morning of October 7, Hamas began firing rockets towards Israel, with reports indicating that 5,000 rockets were launched. Hamas militants entered populated areas in Israel, taking hostages. The group's objective is stated to be the establishment of a Palestinian state, with support for Hamas's actions coming from Iran.
In response to the attacks, Israel initiated an anti-terrorism operation named "Iron Swords" in the Palestinian Gaza Strip. Country's Defense Minister Yoav Galant has referred to the events as a war, promising that Israel will prevail in it. NATO and the United States have expressed support for Israel. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has declared the necessity for a prolonged and powerful operation in the Gaza Strip.
