Video: Military Aircraft Evacuated from Israeli Airbase Near Gaza Strip

Video footage is circulating online showing military aircraft being evacuated from an Israeli airbase near the Gaza Strip.

Israel's bombardment of the Gaza Strip began in the morning. During the first 20 minutes of the operation, 5,000 rockets and shells were fired towards Israel.

The Israel Defense Forces announced the initiation of the "Iron Swords" anti-terror operation in the Gaza Strip.

Following an infiltration of militants into border areas from the Gaza Strip, the Israel Defense Forces declared a "state of combat readiness." Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant stated that the Hamas terrorist group made a "serious mistake" by launching a surprise attack against Israel.

"The State of Israel will win this war," he added.

According to media reports, over 100 people have been injured and another 6 have been killed as a result of the bombardment from Gaza into Israel.
