VIDEO: 18-Year-Old Citizen Tried to Cash In Souvenir Bill, Arrested

An 18-year-old citizen attempted to cash in a souvenir bill at a grocery store in Hovtashat. This was reported by the Police of the Republic of Armenia.

On October 3, operatives from the Vagharshapat Division of Police received information that a resident of Hovtashat village had cashed in a souvenir bill worth 20,000 AMD at one of the grocery stores in the same community back in August. On the same day, criminal investigators located the young man in Hovtashat village, arrested him, and brought him to the Vagharshapat Division of Police.

He informed law enforcement that he had acquired the banknote through one of the online stores as a souvenir.
