UN Mission Set to Return to Artsakh Soon

The UN mission is set to return to Artsakh soon. This was stated by Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev during a meeting with Hans Henri Kluger, the Regional Director for Europe at WHO.

It should be reminded that recently, a UN mission led by the permanent coordinator in Azerbaijan, after wrapping up a one-day visit to Artsakh, announced that according to their data, between 50 and 1,000 Armenians are still remaining there.

“The mission is shocked at how the local residents suddenly left their homes, as well as the sufferings that might have caused this,” the UN mission stated.

The official Yerevan described the statement released after the visit as “highly biased,” emphasizing that it does not reflect the situation on the ground.
