Russians Deceive Former Presidents of Artsakh: ‘Hraparak’

«Hraparak» newspaper reports that during recent events, Russian peacekeepers have performed disgracefully, completely failing to fulfill their duties and deceiving Armenians. We have learned that the former presidents of Artsakh were at the peacekeepers’ base until the last moment, and they were promised that they would be safely transported to Armenia. However, the Russians deceived them by not keeping their promises.

Instead, some of them reportedly profited significantly by taking money for smuggling individuals on the Azerbaijani lists out of the country. For instance, according to reliable information we received, they took 280 thousand dollars from one person and handed over two car license plates to some Azerbaijanis in Hakar, allowing those vehicles to cross the border without hindrance. The former president of Artsakh, Arayik Harutyunyan, who had maintained warm relations with the Russians for years, believed that they would not hand him over to Aliyev.

It is worth noting that earlier reports indicated that former president Arayik Harutyunyan has also been captured. A lawyer has been provided for him in Azerbaijan, and photographs have also been released.
