If the common agreements and understanding had been maintained in Nagorno-Karabakh, it wouldn’t be like this: Nikol Pashinyan

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan addressed his earlier statements regarding the lowering of the status bar for Nagorno-Karabakh: “We lowered the bar, we tried to lower it, and let me reveal a secret – in agreement with our partners in Nagorno-Karabakh. But instead, what happened? We lowered it, and Nagorno-Karabakh raised it. This is the problem,” he said, adding that this action was encouraged by the opposition in Armenia: “If they had maintained our common agreements and understanding, it would not have turned out this way,” the Prime Minister noted, adding, “We said that the international community would provide consolidation. Yes, the international community had offered a meeting to Nagorno-Karabakh in Sofia within the framework of an international mechanism. Why didn’t they go? Because Nagorno-Karabakh was forbidden from going. Who forbade them? Nobody knows.”
