Currently, there are 4500 job vacancies, says Nazeli Baghdasaryan
The Armenian Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs has announced that there are currently 4500 job vacancies available on the website www.workforall.am. Nazeli Baghdasaryan, the spokesperson for the Prime Minister, shared this information during a briefing.
The website has been created for individuals seeking employment. After registration, users can select their registered region and preferred industry to view available job openings.
“If a person identifies a job position, the Unified Social Service can facilitate the connection between the individual and the employer. To do this, one should reach out to the nearest Unified Social Service office or call the hotline at 114,” she stated.
Addressing vacancies in the healthcare and education sectors, Baghdasaryan provided some specific data. “In total, there is a need for 273 senior and 59 mid-level healthcare workers across the regions of Armenia. The distribution is as follows: in Aragatsotn, around 37 positions; in Ararat, 26; in Armavir, 13; in Gegharkunik, around 46; in Kotayk, 32; in Lori, 65; in Shirak, 32; in Tavush, 23; and in Vayots Dzor, 23,” she noted.
Baghdasaryan also reported that there are currently 1035 job vacancies in schools across Armenia and Yerevan, with the following breakdown: 7 in Syunik, 22 in Gegharkunik, 132 in Ararat, 60 in Kotayk, 48 in Aragatsotn, 258 in Armavir, 26 in Shirak, 449 in Lori, 11 in Tavush, 6 in Vayots Dzor, and 16 in Yerevan.
Additionally, out of approximately 21,000 children, 2784 have been enrolled in educational institutions in Armenia, with figures as follows: 140 in Syunik, 46 in Vayots Dzor, 93 in Gegharkunik, 758 in Ararat, 450 in Kotayk, 80 in Aragatsotn, 393 in Armavir, 110 in Shirak, 103 in Lori, 161 in Tavush, and 450 in Yerevan.
