Four Injured from Explosion in Nagorno-Karabakh to be Transferred to France: Colonna

The French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna visited citizens injured by a fuel explosion in Artsakh at the National Burn Center. This information was reported by the First News Agency.

Colonna delivered humanitarian assistance from France to the center. She announced the intention to transfer four patients to France to continue their treatment there.

"My visit expresses France's friendship, but not only friendship, but also support, as well as diplomatic solidarity. France responded quickly to the tragedy, as people were forced to leave their homes under threat of violence and become forcibly displaced. We will continue to be by your side," she stated.

The French Foreign Minister noted that given the deterioration of the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh and the complete blockade, which constitutes a violation of international law, they have decided to increase support for Armenia. Colonna emphasized that this support has now reached 12.5 million euros to assist those who have been forcibly displaced.
