Doctors from Israel Arrive in Armenia to Assist Victims of Fuel Depot Explosion in Artsakh

At the request of the World Health Organization, the Ministry of Health of the State of Israel has sent two doctors to Yerevan to assist those injured in the fuel depot explosion that occurred near Stepanakert on September 26. Israeli Ambassador to Armenia Joel Lion announced this on his microblog.

One of the doctors, Yaron Shoham, is the head of the burn unit at Israel's Soroka Medical Center, while Adi Maisel Lotan is a specialist in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Israel's Shaare Zedek Medical Center. They will join a team of international experts providing medical support to the victims of the explosion.

The explosion at the fuel depot caused extensive damage, resulting in numerous casualties and injuries.
