Deaths Recorded on Stepanakert-Kornidzor Road: Avanesyan
Deaths have been recorded on the Stepanakert-Kornidzor road. This was stated by the Minister of Health of Armenia, Anahit Avanesyan, during a conversation with reporters in Goris.
“People have been on the road for more than 40 hours, and during this time, deaths have occurred, including cases of stroke among adults. You know, the route to Kornidzor has been significantly reduced and does not last longer than 10 hours. The forced displacement has devastating consequences, which we are witnessing. People are arriving in a depleted state, leaving their belongings behind within a few hours, even without medications, and they were stuck in traffic,” said Avanesyan.
She also reported that more than 70 civilians displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh are receiving treatment in Armenian hospitals. “Their number fluctuates, and there are more than 60 to 70 individuals, and this count only includes the civilian population. They suffer from cardiovascular diseases and several other ailments,” Avanesyan noted.
“It is now very important for our compatriots to visit polyclinics at their locations, register, and receive their medical services there,” she added.
We remind you that as of 10:00, 88,780 individuals forcibly displaced from Artsakh have reached the Republic of Armenia.
