UK Not Planning to Send Troops to Ukraine, Sunak Says

The United Kingdom is not planning to send its troops to Ukraine as long as the conflict continues, UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak stated during an appearance on Sky News.

He clarified that statements made by UK Defense Secretary Grant Shapps about sending British instructors to Ukraine refer to a "long-term perspective." Sunak said, "The Defense Secretary meant that this might happen in the future."
Previously, it was reported that British troops would be stationed in Ukraine for the first time.
