Russian Defense Ministry on Situation in Artsakh

The Russian Ministry of Defense has announced that the Defense Forces of Artsakh have handed over more than forty units of armored vehicles and nearly six thousand artillery weapons.

“As of October 1, 45 units of armored vehicles, 87 units of automotive equipment, 28 units of air defense systems, 63 units of field artillery guns, as well as mortars and over 5,700 units of small arms and anti-tank weapons, along with nearly 14 million ammunition rounds have been delivered,” the daily report of the Russian Ministry of Defense states.

According to the Russian military department, “in accordance with the agreements reached on the cessation of hostilities, the armed formations of Karabakh have continued to hand over weapons and military equipment under the supervision of Russian peacekeepers.”

The Russian Ministry of Defense also stated that no ceasefire violations have been recorded.
