Great Britain to Deploy Typhoon Fighters in Poland

London is preparing to deploy Typhoon fighters in Poland to safeguard the Republic. This statement was made by the head of the UK's Ministry of Defence, Grant Shapps, as reported by TASS.

According to Shapps, “the Royal Air Force is stationed in Poland to support NATO allies against the growing threat of Russian interference.” The minister added that the measure has become a strong signal before the parliamentary elections in Poland, indicating that London supports the freedom and democracy of its partners.

Earlier, the American company Lockheed Martin announced the signing of an agreement with Poland's Ministry of Defence regarding cooperation in the production of HIMARS systems.
