British Armed Forces Will Not Deploy to Ukraine Until Conflict Ends, Sunak

The United Kingdom will not send its troops to Ukraine until the armed conflict has concluded, stated the Prime Minister of the European nation, Rishi Sunak.

“No British soldiers will be sent to participate in the current conflict,” he said during an appearance on Sky News.

According to the politician, when discussing plans to send British armed forces, Defense Secretary Grant Shapps was referring to “long-term” considerations and that it might occur “perhaps one day in the future.”

It is noteworthy that Grant Shapps had mentioned that the UK wishes to send its military personnel to Ukraine to train Ukrainian armed forces personnel. He indicated that this matter has already been discussed with the command of the Royal Army.

In turn, the Deputy Head of the Russian Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev, cited the minister's words as an example of the “leading fools in NATO countries” who are pushing our country towards a third world war.
