VIDEO: Drones Dropped Bombs on Children, We Saw It but It Was Too Late – Teacher on the Fallen Brothers in Artsakh

“We were in the upper neighborhood, miraculously saved, and found a place to hide. It was just me, my little child, and a neighbor woman,” said Zhanna Gabrielyan, a teacher of two minors who were killed by Azerbaijani gunfire in the village of Sarnaghbyur, Askeran region, during a conversation with the media today.

Gabrielyan noted that there were very few students in the school, maintaining it with only 6 students. “Mikael was in the 5th grade, but due to the lack of transportation, we couldn’t move him to the neighboring school; the kids had to study remotely, and remote learning didn’t have a connection either. The youngest was studying in the 3rd grade. I was holding on to the small school with my teeth, keeping it open with 6 students. I told myself, until the last student is here, I must keep the school open. I encouraged the kids to make as much noise as they could, to call the Turks’ attention, because the louder they are, the better chances we have,” she explained, stating that she sent her 6 students home that day, thinking everything would be fine.

She mentioned that gunfire had started at 11:00 AM, but they were so wrapped up in the learning process that they didn’t hear it.

The teacher stated that they saw the drones drop bombs on the children, but it was too late. More details in the video.
