No More Buses Will Depart for Stepanakert from Yerevan Municipality

Recently, 20 buses from the Yerevan Municipality transported 700 people from Stepanakert to Goris, and no more buses will be sent from the municipality.

This was stated by Haik Kostanyan, spokesperson for the Yerevan Municipality, in an interview with Tert.am. According to Kostanyan, there is no longer a need to send many vehicles. Few people remain in Stepanakert, and their transportation will be carried out by private buses.

It is noteworthy that today, Prime Minister's spokesperson Nazeli Baghdasaryan announced that the buses that departed for Stepanakert from Goris returned after midnight.

Over two days, 90 buses have left Stepanakert, resulting in the transportation of 2,900 individuals, mainly elderly people, solitary individuals, and representatives of vulnerable groups, to centers in Goris and Vayk.

Kostanyan also mentioned that currently, there are 15 individuals in Stepanakert who could not be transported to Armenia due to mobility issues. To facilitate their transportation to the Republic of Armenia, 13 emergency response teams have been dispatched to Stepanakert, and they have already crossed the bridge over the Hakari River.
