Emergency Medical Teams Sent to Stepanakert: Avanesyan Discusses Situation of Displaced Persons from Artsakh
Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan has provided details on the health situation of our compatriots forcibly displaced from Artsakh.
“Currently, 361 patients transferred from Artsakh are receiving treatment in various medical centers across Armenia. As of today, a total of 14 deaths have been recorded. The condition of many patients is assessed as serious and critically serious. Ten children who have suffered injuries from both explosions and military actions are currently in intensive care. Two children's conditions are critical, while others are stable. One child has shown positive dynamics. Last night, two children were hospitalized due to an accident.
Out of the patients, 221 were injured in the explosion, 114 due to military actions, and 26 have other health issues. Thirteen emergency medical teams have been dispatched to Stepanakert via the Hakari Bridge to assist all individuals with mobility issues or those who are bedbound in returning to Armenia.”
