Nearly 3,000 Arrive from Stepanakert by 90 Buses Overnight, Says Vardan Sargsyan
The registration and assessment of citizens' needs are being conducted round the clock, with all relevant authorities involved in the process. This was stated by Vardan Sargsyan, a representative of the working group on managing the humanitarian crisis in Artsakh, during an interview with our correspondent.
According to him, the flow of individuals displaced from Artsakh to Goris has significantly decreased, especially considering that nearly 3,000 people arrived overnight from Stepanakert by approximately 90 buses provided by the Armenian government.
“All the agencies involved in this process continue their work, and the distribution of people in Goris and Vayk is ongoing, with a substantial amount of work being done to accommodate such a large influx,” Sargsyan emphasized, highlighting the significant efforts made by volunteers.
He noted that around 82,000 individuals displaced from Artsakh have been registered, and those who have not yet registered can approach the 64 territorial humanitarian centers operating in the consolidated communities to register and receive the necessary assistance.
