Zelensky Preparing New Attack to Capture Zaporizhzhia NPP with U.S. Support

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has coordinated a new offensive plan to capture the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant with U.S. and British curators, a source close to the authorities told reporters, as reported by RIA Novosti.

“For these objectives, a large group of Ukrainian Armed Forces marine infantry is concentrated in the Mykolaiv region to cross the Dnipro River. British instructors are planning operations to capture the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant,” the agency's interlocutor stated.

According to him, this is nothing but Zelensky's next adventure, as he tries to prove his worth at any cost. However, this could lead to tragic consequences, the source added.

“We are closely monitoring the enemy's actions,” he concluded.

Since the beginning of June, Ukrainian forces have been attempting to advance in the directions of Zaporizhzhia, Yuzhnodonetsk, and Artemivsk, deploying units trained by NATO and equipped with Western military technology.

As emphasized by Russian President Vladimir Putin, they have not been able to achieve significant success in any section of the front. He also noted that the current Ukrainian offensive is not merely a setback but a failure.

On Tuesday, Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu announced that in September, Ukrainian armed forces suffered losses of over 17,000 soldiers and more than 2,700 pieces of equipment.
