Nagorno-Karabakh Hands Over Around 3 Million Ammunitions: Russian Defense Ministry
The Nagorno-Karabakh region has handed over approximately 3 million ammunition pieces under the control of Russian peacekeepers. This information is provided by the Russian Ministry of Defense.
As of September 29, the following items have been handed over: 16 units of armored vehicles, 21 units of automotive equipment, seven units of air defense systems, 48 units of field artillery pieces, anti-tank weapons and mortars, more than 4,800 units of small arms, anti-tank means, and a surface-to-air missile system, along with almost 3 million ammunition pieces.
The Russian defense ministry reports that no breaches of the ceasefire regime have been registered. Continuous cooperation with Baku and Stepanakert is maintained, aimed at preventing bloodshed, ensuring security, and adhering to humanitarian law norms for the civilian population.
The Russian peacekeeping forces continue their operations in the Nagorno-Karabakh region.
