‘You Still Don't Know What You’re About to Learn’ – Mane Tandilyan
The leader of the ‘Country of Living’ party, Mane Tandilyan, wrote on her Facebook page: ‘Ruben Vardanyan will honorably go through this trial; he is that kind of person – an honorable Armenian, devoted selflessly to everything Armenian, to the Armenian world, to Armenia, and Artsakh. And he knew that he would not be appreciated and never expected any praise. He did what his Armenian blood dictated.
It is also characteristic of him that many discover what he has done to elevate the honor of the Armenian world only after his abduction. And you still don’t know what else you will find out, after which you will regret and feel remorse for the ways in which you slandered him or did not reprimand those slandering him. But you will never know how he made the decision to go to Artsakh. More precisely, you will know but not believe it. Because in order to believe, you need to have the same dedication to everything Armenian.
I do not know a second person who would hold everything Armenian in such high esteem, which was the basis of his decision to do everything to preserve the ancient Armenian homeland of Artsakh. And to do this deeply aware of what he is facing... Yes, such a choice can only be made consciously, with a clear forecast of what awaits him and with unprecedented reverence for every Armenian. Yet some chose not to see. What does not seeing mean? It means corrupting every good thing that is Armenian. Ruben Vardanyan will go through this trial with honor, but the disgrace will remain with the scum among us who do not see all this, who forget all this, who destroy all this. We are with you, Ruben...’
