Russian Defense Ministry on the Situation in Artsakh

The Russian peacekeeping forces continue to carry out their tasks in the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh.

“Continuous cooperation is maintained with Baku and Stepanakert to prevent bloodshed, ensure security, and uphold humanitarian rights for the civilian population. No violations of the ceasefire regime have been recorded.

The evacuation of residents affected by the fuel tank explosion in Stepanakert has been completed using helicopters from the Russian peacekeeping contingent. A total of 42 medical flights have been carried out, evacuating 258 people.

Under the control of the Russian peacekeeping contingent, there are 117 civilians, including 50 children. Their accommodation, food, and medical assistance have been organized.”
