Is there anyone in the world who believes in Azerbaijan's latest false rhetoric? Marukyan on Hajiyev's statement

The Special Envoy of the Republic of Armenia, Edmon Marukyan, responded on his X page to the statement made by Hikmet Hajiyev, the assistant to the President of Azerbaijan, claiming that people are leaving Nagorno-Karabakh freely.

Marukyan wrote: “In an interview with Deutsche Welle, the assistant to the President of Azerbaijan claims that people are leaving Nagorno-Karabakh freely. I want to understand if there is anyone in the world who believes in Azerbaijan's latest false rhetoric. People are leaving because they are being attacked by Azerbaijani soldiers. People are leaving because their towns and villages are occupied by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces. People are leaving because neither the international community nor Azerbaijan guarantees their rights and security. People are leaving because for 10 months Azerbaijan kept 120,000 people, including 30,000 children, in blockade, starving them as part of its ethnic cleansing policy. People are leaving because no one has been punished for Azerbaijan’s war crimes from 2016 to 2020, and there is no guarantee that those who beheaded people will not freely roam these territories to do so again.

I hope it is now clearer than ever why people are leaving.”
