27,408 Out of 55,240 Registered Individuals Displaced from Stepanakert: Armen Ghazaryan

Out of the registered 55,240 individuals, 26,575 are male and 28,670 are female. Among those registered, there are 1,172 individuals with disabilities and 133 pregnant women. This was revealed by Armen Ghazaryan, head of the Migration and Citizenship Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, during a press conference presenting the progress of support work carried out by the 'Humanitarian Center'.

The largest number of citizens forcibly displaced are from Stepanakert, totaling 27,408 individuals. Following Stepanakert, more than 10,000 have been displaced from the Martakert region, over 7,500 from the Askeran region, around 7,000 from the Martuni region, and so on. Ghazaryan stated that the assessment of the needs of the displaced individuals is being prioritized.
