VIDEO. Iran Launches 'Noor-3' Military Satellite into Earth's Orbit
The Iranian 'Noor-3' military satellite has been successfully launched and placed into orbit at an altitude of 450 kilometers. This was announced by Isa Zarepour, the Minister of Information and Communications Technology of the Islamic Republic.
“Thanks to the efforts of the IRGC Aerospace Force, the 'Noor-3' satellite has been successfully positioned into a 450-kilometer orbit, aided by the 'Kased' two-stage carrier rocket. I congratulate the IRGC experts involved in the space program on this achievement,” he stated.
In April 2020, the IRGC Aerospace Force launched the first Iranian military satellite, named 'Noor', into a 425-kilometer orbit, followed by 'Noor-2' in March 2022.
