Social Support Services Map Launched for Displaced Persons from Artsakh
To support citizens forcibly displaced from Artsakh, the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia has launched the "Social Support Services Map" at map.socservice.am. This information was reported by the press service of the Armenian government.
The purpose of the "Social Support Services Map" is to inventory the available resources of international organizations, non-governmental organizations, and social initiatives willing to assist citizens forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh and to plan their subsequent application.
On this platform, organizations will have the opportunity to fill in their resources, after which the collected data will be accessible to the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, regional administrations, and local self-governing bodies. The gathered resources will be coordinated by them and utilized as needed.
Currently, the needs of displaced persons are being identified and met by the Government of Armenia under the coordination of regional administrations. It is important to note that to provide urgent assistance to displaced citizens and to efficiently organize work with government bodies, a Primary Needs Registration Platform was launched at e-soc.am, and the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs also operates a hotline at 114.
Previously, we reported that the primary registration and needs assessment of residents displaced from Artsakh is being conducted at a point near the Kornidzor community in Syunik.
