Russian Defense Ministry on the Situation in Artsakh
The Russian peacekeeping contingent continues to carry out missions in the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh, the Russian Defense Ministry reports.
“In fulfillment of the agreements reached regarding the cessation of military operations, the armed formations in Karabakh have continued to hand over weapons and military equipment under the control of Russian peacekeepers. As of September 24, six units of armored vehicles, over 1,200 units of artillery weapons, anti-tank weapons, and about 130,000 ammunition have been delivered.
The Russian peacekeepers have ensured the delivery of humanitarian supplies to the peaceful population of Karabakh. A total of 125 tons of food products and 65 tons of fuel and groceries have been delivered.
The Russian peacekeeping contingent continues to care for 715 civilians, including 402 children. Their accommodation, food, and medical assistance have been organized,” the report states.
