Baku Values Armenia's Leadership Political Competence and Recognizes Territorial Integrity

In a message addressed to his people, Aliyev stated that previously, Armenia's leadership declared that "Karabakh is Armenia," but now they are saying, "Karabakh is Azerbaijan." According to him, the Armenian leadership has demonstrated political competence on the issue of Nagorno-Karabakh.

“The Armenian residents of Karabakh are citizens of Azerbaijan. We aim to establish coexistence based on peace, understanding, and mutual respect. We have no issues with the Armenian people, despite all injustices and crimes. We do not blame the Armenian people for the Khojaly genocide. We hold the leaders of the criminal regime accountable,” Aliyev noted.

The Azerbaijani president affirmed that he recognizes the territorial integrity of Armenia: “We must be confident that the other side does not live under the notions of revanchism. The Armenian leadership demonstrated competence in the situation around Nagorno-Karabakh, and Baku appreciates this.”
