Emmanuel Macron and Pope Francis Discuss Situation in Artsakh
The President of France, Emmanuel Macron, and Pope Francis have discussed the migration crisis and issues related to euthanasia behind closed doors. The meeting, which lasted about half an hour, also focused on international issues, notably Ukraine, Africa, Artsakh, and environmental concerns.
As previously reported, on September 19, Azerbaijan launched a large-scale attack on the Republic of Artsakh. The Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense claimed that "civilian populations and civilian infrastructure objects are not targeted, and only 'military targets' are neutralized."
According to the latest data, the Azerbaijani aggression against Artsakh has resulted in 200 casualties (10 civilians, including 5 children) and 400 injured (40 civilians, including 13 children).
