Armed Forces of Armenia Do Not Need Tires, Ministry of Defense States

The Ministry of Defense of Armenia calls on the public to refrain from initiatives to collect tires for the army's needs. This statement was issued by the Military Police of the Ministry of Defense.

According to the ministry's announcement, over the past days, monitoring of social media has revealed more than ten incidents of tire collection for the needs of the Armed Forces of Armenia.

The Ministry of Defense appreciates the willingness of concerned citizens to support the armed forces, but states, 'At this stage, there is no necessity to collect tires for the armed forces.'
