Prosecutor's Office Demands Seizure of 3 Properties from Former Director of Yolyan Hematology Center

The Anti-Corruption Court accepted a new claim for the seizure of property of illegal origin on August 25, 2023.

The General Prosecutor's Office has submitted a demand to the court to seize in favor of the Republic of Armenia from Smbat Daghbashyan, the former director of the 'Professor R.O. Yolyan Hematology Center' LLC, and an associated person, specifically:

• 3 real estate properties located in Yerevan, or their average market value of 562 million 160 thousand drams in case of impossibility.
• 133 million 580 thousand drams as the remaining balance of illegal monetary instruments.
• 28 million 69 thousand drams, which is not substantiated by the individual's legal income, has an illegal origin, and either has been transferred to a bona fide purchaser or cannot be identified and seized.
