VIDEO: Tevanian on the Possibility of Cooperation with the 'Public Voice' Party
The 'Public Voice' party is reportedly ready to form a coalition with Marutyan and Tevanian, provided that they trust the party with the oversight bodies in the mayor's office. During a press conference convened by Andranik Tevanian, journalists asked him whether he was prepared to accept Gukasyan's conditions.
“We do not see any issues regarding administrative levers. I have stated from the very first day that my opponent is Nikol Pashinyan. We are focused on the task of removing Pashinyan. We are ready to discuss any cooperation without claiming any levers. We will not say, ‘give us this, give us that’; we do not see the issue in that way. We say, if Hayk Marutyan is, for example, ready to work as mayor, then he must share our proposed comprehensive plan for implementing a regime change,” said Andranik Tevanian.
A journalist asked how he envisions cooperation, considering that Vardan Gukasyan, the head of the 'Public Voice' party, has sharply criticized both the coalition and Tevanian himself throughout the election campaign.
“I do not hate any person or political force in Armenia more than I love our republic. If it were personal, I would not even greet so many people and I would avoid crossing paths with many,” Tevanian responded.
