Products Not Meeting Established Standards to Be Destroyed On-Site in Artsakh
We would like to inform once again that medical and hygiene supplies have been transported via the Akna-Stepanakert road by the International Committee of the Red Cross, and are currently held in an ICRC warehouse. This was reported by the Artsakh information headquarters.
"They will only be transferred to the government of the Republic of Artsakh after passing appropriate examinations. Products that do not meet the established standards (origin, quality) set by the government will be destroyed on-site. At the same time, the authorities of the republic are working with the International Committee of the Red Cross to ensure that only products conforming to our requirements are imported into Artsakh in the future," the statement says.
Earlier, we reported that approximately 23 tons of flour produced in Armenia have been transported to Stepanakert via the Berdzor (Lachin) corridor along the Goris-Stepanakert highway, as well as medical and hygiene supplies produced abroad (from Russia and Switzerland) via the Akna-Stepanakert road.
