Upper Lars Checkpoint to Operate Under Limited Regime from September 18 to 24

The State Revenue Committee reports that according to the information from "Rosgranstroy", due to the final phase of reconstruction of the Upper Lars automobile checkpoint, asphalt works will be conducted in the traffic lanes intended for heavy vehicles entering the Russian Federation from September 18 to 24.

Transit traffic will be organized on the Russian-bound route. A temporary reduction in capacity is expected, which may lead to congestion of heavy transport vehicles. Work is ongoing at the checkpoint concerning internal finishing, equipment installation, furnishing, road surfacing, and curb installation.
