The Second Number on the 'National Progress' List Discusses Coalition Formation Opportunities

The second number on the electoral list of the "National Progress" party, Hayk Grigoryan, made a post on his Facebook page regarding possible coalitions in the newly elected Yerevan council.

"For those asking about the coalition, I will answer: in my opinion, the only possible option is a coalition between the CP and Aram Sargsyan. Moreover, the voters of Zeynalian will not see him in the council since he will probably not take the mandate. Their sole purpose of participation was to aid the CP in avoiding a complete defeat.

The results of the recent elections revealed that the CP could not gain even the minimum level of confidence, even with Nikol's personal participation in the campaign and under conditions of informational terror. The end of the CP's governance has begun. And this was done not by former or current forces or those connected to them. It was done by a much-anticipated alternative new force," wrote Grigoryan.

It should be noted that the "Public Voice" party has expressed its willingness to form a coalition with "Mother Armenia" and "National Progress."
