Photos: Explosion at the Ayntap Gas Station and Liquid Gas Filling Station, Casualties Reported

On September 18, an explosion occurred at the Ayntap gas station and liquid gas filling station, resulting in casualties. This was reported by the Armenian Ministry of Emergencies’ Rescue Service.

“On September 18, at 1:24 PM, the crisis management center of the Ararat regional rescue service received a call reporting a fire at the liquid gas filling station on 10th Street in the village of Ayntap,” the statement read.

Seven firefighting units from the rescue services of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the City of Yerevan were dispatched to the scene, along with operational groups from the Yerevan rescue and national crisis management center.

According to preliminary data, the fire broke out at the gas station and the liquid gas filling station. There is one reported casualty. The fire was contained by 2:30 PM.
