Drone Crash in Iran: Injuries Reported

A drone has crashed in the city of Gorgan, the administrative center of Golestan province in northern Iran. This was reported by gazeta.ru, referring to the Iranian IRNA news agency.

According to the agency, an unidentified object resembling a homemade drone fell in one of Gorgan's residential neighborhoods. IRNA noted that city residents heard the sound of a loud explosion.

The police chief of Golestan province reported that law enforcement received reports of unidentified objects falling in several areas of the city. He stated that the situation is fully under control.

The agency also mentioned that the shockwave from the explosion shattered the windows of residential buildings and shops. According to police, two people were injured as a result of the incident.
