Video: Explosion Occurs in Five-Story Building in Dagestan
An explosion occurred in a five-story building in Dagestan, presumably due to household gas. Following the gas explosion, a fire broke out in the residential building. This information was provided to RIA Novosti by the press service of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry in Dagestan.
"A report was received in Makhachkala that there had been an explosion of a gas-air mixture in a residential building in the village of Semender (within the Makhachkala urban district). Upon the arrival of firefighters, it was determined that the explosion had occurred on the fourth floor of the five-story residential building, after which a fire ignited," the press service reported.
According to RT, the Dagestan Ministry of Emergency Situations stated that there were no casualties from the explosion. More than 70 people have been evacuated.
