Andranik Tevanyan, the mayoral candidate of the opposition "Mother Armenia" alliance participating in the Yerevan council elections, commented on the statements made by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during the ruling party's concluding pre-election rally. The Prime Minister delivered a rather harsh speech.

"The word 'Lize' is repeated quite often with him. Psychologists say that those who are troubled by something often speak about it. He likely has some issues related to that 'lizing,' which is why he uses that word so frequently. Freud used to say, 'A cigar is just a cigar,' sometimes serving as just a cigar. Lize, eat... apparently, it's something that has come from his childhood. The rest is for psychologists to respond to; there are things that are beyond the political sphere," Tevanyan said.
