Video: Plane Crash in Brazil Leaves 14 Dead

A plane crash in Brazil has resulted in the deaths of 12 tourists and two crew members in the Northern Amazonas state. The accident occurred during the landing of an Embraer Bandeirante aircraft.

It was reported that the airplane was traveling from the capital of Manaus to Barcelos, with passengers preparing for sport fishing. Heavy rainfall was noted during the landing, which authorities believe could be one of the contributing factors to the crash.

“We don’t know the details yet. I have a few reports, but I do not want to interfere with the investigation,” said Colonel Vinicius Almeida, the Amazonas Secretary of Public Security.
