An Italian Frecce Tricolori aerobatic team aircraft crashed during a training flight near Turin, according to the La Stampa newspaper.

The incident occurred ahead of an airshow scheduled for September 17. The aircraft lost altitude, separated from the group, and fell onto the runway near the airport, subsequently catching fire. The pilot managed to eject.
