The Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine's Ministry of Defense has confirmed reports regarding the serious health condition of Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov. This was reported by news.obozrevatel.com.

Andriy Yusov, a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine's Ministry of Defense, stated that Kadyrov's health has deteriorated, leading to a serious condition. “Yes, indeed, there are reports that Kadyrov's condition is serious; existing illnesses have worsened and resulted in such a severe state,” he noted.

Yusov added that information about Kadyrov's serious condition has been confirmed by various sources, and the cause of the illness is not an injury. “The information is corroborated by different sources in medical and political circles; it is not about an injury, but details need further clarification. He has been ill for a long time, but in recent days he has been in a serious state,” Yusov said.

Rumors about Kadyrov's serious illness have been circulating for several months. In March 2023, the German newspaper Bild, citing former Chechen Deputy Prime Minister Akhmad Zakayev, who now lives in exile, reported that Kadyrov has a serious kidney disease and has brought a doctor from the UAE to Chechnya, as he does not trust Moscow doctors.

Social media has also pointed out noticeable changes in Kadyrov's appearance, particularly severe facial swelling and medical equipment on his finger, raising suspicions that his kidneys are failing.
