VIDEO: Alen Simonyan on the Involvement of a Large Number of Police Officers and Citizens from Regions in the March
Before the rally organized by the ruling party, NA President Alen Simonyan was asked by reporters why there was a significant presence of police officers and if it was due to fears of the authorities.
In response, Simonyan did not rule out the possibility of "provocations." He stated, "You know, we do not exclude any actions from external enemies, from our external adversaries. We have seen such things in our history that how can we rule it out, especially since the entire government is in one place, it is natural that it is very important to ensure security."
Reporters also asked Simonyan to clarify what kind of enemy he had in mind. He replied, "You are asking interesting questions. There can be an enemy inside as well, which may try to do something."
Simonyan was also questioned about the influx of citizens from regions to the march and rally, to which he encouraged reporters to go around and ask those present.
