US Congressman Frank Pallone has thanked Senator Bob Menendez for what he described as "the extremely important hearings on the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Artsakh." He made this statement on his X (formerly Twitter) microblog.

"This helped shed light on Aliyev's planned campaign of ethnic cleansing, which continues with Azerbaijan's illegal blockade of the Lachin corridor," wrote the congressman.

It is noteworthy that yesterday, hearings began in the US Senate Foreign Relations Committee to assess the crisis in Artsakh. At the start of the hearings, committee chairman Bob Menendez reminded that for months, Azerbaijan has been blocking the entry into the Lachin corridor, preventing humanitarian aid from reaching the Armenians in Artsakh, who are facing starvation.
